Its been 6 months of use since I bought this tripod. I though a post use review would be more useful to see how the tripod had hold up over time.
Besides the minor scratches it has held up extremely well. Leg operations are still solid, no loose joints or fittings. Carbon shafts are still in great shape without any nicks or cracks. The twisting leg locks have been in water, sand and dirt and have kept out the elements surprisingly well.

The bubble level works well but I never found myself using it, the compass is a bit of a joke though…it doesnt even move. Optional legs spikes can be swapped with the rubber feet if you wish but I’ve never found a need for it.

The Benro c-258 n6 came with a wrench to adjust the friction on the legs and allen wrench to lock up ball heads. Nice to be able to tweak it to your liking.

Overall I think the Benro c-258n6 still holds its value; the quality is almost as good as Gitzos but at a third of a price its a great bargain. There is a newer version with 8 layers of carbon weaves instead of the 6 here which should give it more strength and stiffness.
